About Me

My counseling philosophy is inspired by my personal experiences and theoretical framework, which drives my passion for working with college students. As a first-generation, queer, immigrant student of color, the core of my vocation is serving diverse populations with a holistic approach ensuring intellectual, emotional, and social growth in a fostering and safe learning environment. In my practice, I believe it is essential that counselors, coaches, and therapists holistically understand the client as a whole, including their state of emotion, relationships, skills, and expectations of self, higher education, and career. This holistic approach ensures growth in a wide range of areas.

I frequently utilized Sanford's theory of Challenge and Support as a framework when helping many of my clients. My approach is to recognize the unique place each client is at and actively motivate and push clients towards growth while lending a helping hand along their developmental journey.
